Tomcool, great work. I am impressed by ATVLoudmouth.

However, I am a unix n00b, so could you please go over the procedure for removing ATVLoudmouth (whatever the apt-get or dpkg commands are)? I've tried

but to no avail. It doesn't show up when I run

either.

did you try restarting appletv.app?

Ah thanks. I was using

org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap_1.0.0-339_iphoneos-arm

instead of

org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap

Guess I need to brush up on my unix skills.

I already had installed ATVLoudmouth once and it worked pretty well. But I then had to set up the ATV from the scratch and since that, I am not able to install Loudmouth again. When performing the last step
"dpkg -i org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap_1.0.0-339_iphoneos-arm.deb"
I get a message:

org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap depends on org.tomcool.smframework (>= 0.5.6); however:
Package org.tomcool.smframework is not installed.
dpkg: error processing org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap (--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap

I did every step as mentioned in the guide ...
I searched, but it seems I am the only one having that troubles ...

Although I really dunnot know what happened, these are the step I did to make it run:

1)
apt-get update

2)
apt-get install wget

I said:
wget is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
org.tomcool.atvloudmouth.frap: Depends: org.tomcool.smframework (>= 0.5.6) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

so I did:
3)
apt-get -f install

After that, the missing "smframework" was installed and I was able to run the dpkg commands successfully

are you doing anymore development on for loudmouth? I am trying to use it but with the new software my ATV2 crashes every time the timeline is loaded... i would love to donate some cash if you are still working on this project!!!
